Many course participants from different parts of the world have passed through the doors of IDFR, including from the US, Australia, Thailand, Philippines, Timor Leste, Tonga, Zambia and Iraq. The following are some of the feedbacks received from course participants:

Several students from local universities, including Universiti Utara Malaysia and Universiti Islam Antarabangsa, also had an opportunity to experience life at IDFR while doing their internship here.

"IDFR is an excellent place for interns to obtain experience especially in areas concerning the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Malaysia Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP). It allowed us to meet and discuss with foreign participants."

"I learned about time management, communication skills, research methodology and protocol in official functions. Being an intern at IDFR was meaningful and I gained a lot of working experience, which will be useful in the future."

"I improved my general knowledge and learned communication skills. I also had the opportunity to attend courses and functions organised by IDFR. My internship at IDFR was a very interesting experience. IDFR is a suitable venue for university students’ practical sessions, especially for those taking international relations."
