The Centre for Leadership, Negotiation, and Public Diplomacy (LNPD) is responsible for developing critical competencies in leadership, negotiation, public diplomacy, and media engagement for Malaysian diplomats. Recognising the evolving nature of diplomacy and international relations, the Centre continuously adapts its curricula to meet global diplomatic demands - ensuring officers are equipped to navigate an increasingly complex landscape.
A flagship component of LNPD’s portfolio is the Pre-Posting Orientation Course (SPKM). This comprehensive SPKM Course is designed for officers and their spouses preparing for their international assignments abroad. Conducted multiple times in a year, the course ensures that officers from various Ministries and Agencies are fully prepared to safeguard Malaysia’s interests overseas.
